Covington Aircraft Engines adds Greg Stewart to PT6A sales management team.
This month, Greg Stewart joined the Covington Aircraft Engines sales team as Sales Manager, supporting sales for the company’s highly-regarded PT6A overhaul, maintenance, and repair services. Stewart attended College of the Ozarks, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Science and an Airframe & Powerplant License. He later became a part of Kansas Aviation, which was later rebranded as VSE Aviation, where he worked as a Field Service Manager and Warranty Engineer. VSE is a Covington vender for PT6A accessories, which exposed Stewart to Covington’s legendary levels of service and introduced the company to Mister Stewart’s background and capabilities.
Covington Aircraft Engines opens new Service Center in the United Kingdom
Covington Aircraft Engines has officially opened the doors of its second overseas Service Center. Located in the southwest of England near Wimborne, Dorset, Covington Aircraft EU Limited is certified by the United Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority as a Part 145 organization and will provide customers in the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Africa with factory authorized maintenance, parts, and Mobile Repair Team services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A family of engines.
Pratt & Whitney Canada Renews Covington Engines’ DOF Certification
Okmulgee, OK – In addition to heralding their 50th year in business, Covington Aircraft Engines
is celebrating renewal of their certification as a Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF). As a DOF, Covington has the ability to carry-out factory-authorized maintenance, warranty, and parts support work on 59 models of the P&WC PT6A turbine engine. Covington is a P&WC DOF fully owned and headquartered in the United States.
