The Radial Shop
The first process a radial engine undergoes at Covington is teardown and inspection. |
Then, some parts go to the machine shop |
Cylinders go to the cylinder shop for a complete rebuild. |
Magnetos get a full rebuild and testing. Crankshafts get tested then balanced. |
As the parts are completed, they come back together for assembly. |
Completed engines are then staged for a test run. |
Run-in is performed in one of our two test-cells. |
The engine is then ready for installation or shipping. |
